Warranty Policy

PLEASE NOTE: Opening your device may void any original manufacturer warranty and or your ability to have repairs completed by Apple in the future.

iBroken Canada warrants all iPhone & iPad repairs for a period of thirty days (“30”) from the date of purchase on the invoice. If the repair should malfunction, please contact iBroken Canada (Subject to terms below and notes on your invoice). Upon examination by an iBroken Canada technician, if the repair is found to be defective it will be repaired at no charge at the Store address on your invoice, no exceptions will be made. Please note: Phone calls do not extend your warranty. The 30-day warranty period will not be extended under any circumstance as our software can only do a warranty claim within the 30-day window.

iBroken Canada’s WARRANTY does not apply to defects resulting from any action of the purchaser, including but not limited to mishandling, physical damage, software problems, water damage, operation outside of design limits, improper repair by someone other than iBroken Canada, use of any other product other than iBroken Canada products, or unauthorized modification. If your device is opened by anyone other then an iBroken Canada technician your warranty is automatically null & void.

If the device qualified for a warranty, and a warranty is offered on the repair, it only applies to the item repaired and not any other functions or components of the device. If a warranty is applicable, it is not transferable to any other device that may be on the same ticket or if you sell the device within the warranty time frame.

Our warranty is not the same as insurance. For example, if your iPhone or iPad is dropped, hit, bumped or if the screen mysteriously breaks while sitting and not being used, whether it’s on the same day of the repair, 1 week later or even 29 days later, this is not covered under the Warranty Policy. No matter of the height of the drop or the surface it was dropped on, Glass is Glass and it can break just as your current iPhone/iPad screen that is broken was cracked/broken prior to our repair. When we return the device to the customer it isn’t broken and it becomes the responsibility of the owner of the said device, not iBroken Canada Inc.

A series of tests will be done before and after the repair to confirm the functions of the phone are working properly. On iPhone Screen Repairs we will test the Ear speaker, Upper Mic, Front Facing Camera, Proximity Sensor and Home Button (We do not test the Touch ID function). No other components on the phone will be tested or confirmed of their workability.  iPhones & iPads that are unaccountable (unable to have Pre-test performed by the technician) and iPhones & iPads that have bends, dents or twisted bodies are not covered under our Warranty Policy and do not come with a warranty. All repairs that are done on iPhones or iPads that have water damaged do not come with a warranty. Warranty will not apply to any LCD that shows signs of impact (Lines/Black spots) even if the glass isn’t broken. Warranty only applies to the item repaired that is written on the invoice.

Accessories purchased do not come with a warranty, therefore, are not covered under our warranty policy. Cases and tempered glass offer extra shock and impact protection from drops, we can’t guarantee that they will prevent any and all damage to the device. You will purchase at your own discretion and no guarantees are implied by any of iBroken Canada’s employees.

Your original invoice is needed to process any warranty job so please keep your copy. All accessories and repairs are final sales, no refunds, returns or exchanges will be given.

This WARRANTY is VOID if the unit shows evidence of having been tampered with (broken seal) or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion; or current, heat, moisture or vibration; improper specification; misapplication; misuse; abuse; flood; fire; earthquake; other external causes or operating conditions outside of iBroken Canada’s control. WARRANTY is VOID if the customer performs any software modifications not limited to restore, updating software on the device, downloading unauthorized or unapproved software, viruses, malware, spyware, or attempts to modify any software. iBroken Canada ’s employees reserve the right to VOID any warranty if any improper software installations or modifications have been made after customer last repair. This warranty is non-transferable.
